H2 concentration control
Due to the Nernst equation, which dictates that a certain potential difference corresponds to a certain concentration difference, a constant hydrogen concentration can be achieved in a (closed) reactor system. For example in biochemistry where organisms produce hydrogen out of organic material, but stop producing hydrogen upon achieving a certain concentration. Proton Technologies constant concentration system could supply the solution in maintaining a constant low concentration of hydrogen, without filtering out any other gas.
Possible applications:
- Bio H2 reactor
- (De)Hydrogenation reactors
